Saarstahl Rail Hayange

Saarstahl Rail is a major player in the railway rail sector with an average annual production of 400,000 tons. The company specializes in producing a variety of rail types (Vignole, switches, grooved rails, rail tracks) and offers its clients over 100 different rail profiles.

Saarstahl Ascoval

The electric steel plant Saarstahl Ascoval in Saint-Saulve, France, produces continuously cast billets and blooms (round, square, rectangular formats) in non-alloyed and alloyed steels. It has a capacity of approximately 500,000 tons per year. Ascoval features an electric arc furnace (90 tons, 115 MVA), a ladle furnace (15 MVA), a twin-tank VOD system, and a four-strand continuous casting line.
